Digital Kettle sketch

Kettle no.1

I uses mask tool to select the area which I wanted to work on. For the sooden part I go researched on the internet for wooden texture. After I finally found the perfect images for this project, I then drag it into the procreate app and warp it to make it into the shape I wanted. Then I finally uses eraser tool to crop the extra bit off. I then uses the same technique of marker as I did on a paper. The good thing about this is that we don't need to wait for the marker to dry. After the first coat of colour, I uses a darker colour to make the shadow.

Back View

I did the same thing to my back view. Irepeated the same step and trechnique to the object

The tripod Kettle

For this kettle I uses the same method at the first one but I apply more texture in it because the thing under, I wanted it to be metal so I apply the metal texture to it. At the stand I uses rubber texture at the end so it have a grip for holding it still. One more thing, due to this one is a cylinder shape, I needed to apply the light reflection on it so it look more realistic. I also need to add the extra shadow in the gap between each cylinder, so I needed to do it in a different mask.

The Glass tube Kettle

As before I uses the same method for the marker rendering, but the thing that make it different is the glass tube in the middle which I needed to work on many layers for it. First of all, I started to researched for the water and glass texture I wanted then inserted it and mask it. I then crop it to make it in to the right position I wanted. I then turn the glass layer opacity down to make us able to see the water.

The Leaning Kettle

For this one there is not much different to ther others. This one is probably the easiest one for me because i did not apply any texture on to it so it is just a normal object with a marker rendered on it

Penguin KettlešŸ§

Ā For this design I uses the regular technique of marker rendering. Thois design should be like a fun design so I choose the colour that should look fun together which is orange and blue. I uses the same technique as the glass tube one at the belly of the penguin.Ā

My hard working view :)

SHADOW

Before

After

As you can see that after I added the shadow, the objects look more interesting and more 3 dimension. I uses the brush called ' Soft Dirty air' because the dirty air brush is very good with the shadow which make it look interesting.

HIGHLIGHT

Before

After

At this point after I finish with the shadowing, I then started on my highlighting. On the shadow step I uses the soft dirty air brush because of the texture it gave, but for this one I have chosen a soft clean air brush because I does not want that shadowy texture but opposite want the smooth light reflection.

Extra background

I added the linking box which tell you that those two object are from the same thing but only in different view. I also added the ground shadow. This make my object look more 3D and look nicer. I mask the object and then uses the soft air brush for it.
