Project Zomboid is a zombie sandbox-survival game.
Originally requiring SteamCMD knowledge, this can now be hosted via ingame GUI.There is alot to take on and learn to understand how to play this game. I'll break this up into 2 sections.

Profession & Traits
Profession & Traits
Professions can determine what basic items you will start the game with.
Traits apply unique modifers to your character; you cannot play if your traits equal more than +0 so you have to apply debuff modifers to balance out your character.
Once your happy with your setup you can save your character traits in the bottom left.

Health System
Health System
Health is realistic in this game so although there is a health bar, your character can actually die depending on the extent of their injuries.
The status screen is located on the left; others can also inspect you. Indications to your needs or troubles are mentioned on the right - which could be symptoms of problems related to your character's health.
You can right click injuries and apply aid if you have the correct items in your inventory, otherwise there will be no additional options to use.

Your inventory is located at the top of the screen with your items on your person on the left while the right will show nearby items from the ground or nearby containers.
To equip a weapon place it in your character's hands and press CTRL while pointing your mouse in the desired direction before LeftClicking the target.
Right click items in the world to interact with them. Some crafting options will only appear if you have applicable items equipped.
To enter a vehicle press or hold E; some vehicles are locked or blocked by items preventing player from entry in some cases.

There are plenty of vehicles scattered about the world, but they also have their own physics and requirements for operation.
To use a car you require:
*Car keys - required to start ignition.*Fueled - check the petrol tank for Gas*Repaired - vehicle capable of moving
You can interact with the maitainence of a vehicle by right clicking and inspecting it or you can press or hold E to get inside the nearest door.You can only drive the car if your in the driver's seat, so you may have to run around the car if you've entered from the wrong seat.

Initial setup configuration.
Here you can set how powerful the zombies are and how unforgiving the AI director can be for the players.
Most of these options can be changed ingame using the admin panel, however item spawning will have already occured once the world has been generated.

Once ingame press ESC, click admin panel and you'll get a pop-up window which can grant admin rights.
This will not show up for other players unless they've been given Admin access level.
