After reaching Phase 5 of the River Hills Court Project in February 2023, the builder selected by the City of Temple Terrace identified the original concrete foundation as not stable enough to support safe courts of any kind. As a result, the decision has been made to demolish the existing courts. Monies dedicated to the Riverhills Court Project will now be directed to renovating the Temple Terrace Park and Recreation Tennis Center to include pickleball.
