Advanced Play
Advanced Play (Fall 2023)
In August of 2023, an Advanced Play court was added to open indoor play times (Mon, Wed, Fri).
To play on this court, players were required to earn a Poach (pickleball app) ranking or a pro exemption. Players who have qualified are welcome to play on the Advanced court through August 2024.
Advanced Play (Fall 2024)
Starting in August 2024, a new ranking system will be implemented to identify players eligible for advanced play. To qualify, players must obtain a player rating through DUPR sometime from January to July 2024.
Once August arrives, there will be a qualification threshold for advanced play. Only the top 25 players or those with a pro exemption will be eligible to participate. Please note, the cut-off line may adjust based on the number of qualified players. Players must maintain their position in the top 25 to stay on the Advanced court.
Qualifying steps
Before August 2024:
Create a DUPR account
Join the Temple Terrace Pickleball group on DUPR
Play and log DUPR matches with any DUPR players
Organize and log your own matches
DUPR events will be available all year through the club
