J. Tyler Chadwell-English is a Teen Librarian and Volunteer Coordinator for Urbana Regional Library in the Frederick County Maryland Public Library System. He graduated with a Masters in Library and Information Science from The University of Pittsburgh and his Masters in Folklore from George Mason University. Prior to that he worked and taught at The Frank and Jane Gabor West Virginia Folklife Center on the Campus of Fairmont State University. He served on the 2021/2022 Library of Congresses WNDB Walter Awards Committee. His most recent accomplishment is co-writing a chapter in Dr. Simon Bronner’s new text The Oxford Handbook of American Folklore and Folklife Studies on LGBTQIA+ folklore and community folklife.
Eileen Foley-Breck is a teen librarian at the Urbana Regional Library in Frederick County. Prior to coming to the Urbana Library, she owned and worked a women’s clothing store in downtown Frederick for ten years, and she taught middle and high school English for fourteen years in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Her past work in business and public schools has been a powerful asset in forging partnerships with the library. When not at the library, Eileen can be found at the beach or riding her horse, Mr. Big.
Jake Ciarapica has worked with teens for the last 6 years, in both Harford County Public Libraries and Baltimore County Public Libraries. Some of his favorite teen programs in the library include D&D in the Library, Manga Book Club, and Super Smash Brothers Tournaments. He serves as the co-chair of the Teen Interest Group of the Maryland Library Association. Jake is an avid gamer, anime fan, and complete cat dad. He works at the Owings Mills Branch of Baltimore County Public Library.
Tori George is a Public Services Reference Librarian at Calvert Library, Prince Frederick. She is the leader of the Teen and Tween Team which develops and implements teen and tween programming throughout the county.
