Fellowship in Alpha Phi Omega isn't just about meeting up outside of service events. It's about going to group retreats, organizing fellowship events, and doing service and work, creating friendships that last a lifetime.
Every semester, the pledge class goes on a retreat, where new members can bond with the officers and each other. Whether it's a local event or a road trip outside of Lubbock, pledge retreat is a lot of fun and a great way to make new friends!
Previous pledge retreats have included a weekend lock-in, a trip to Carlsbad Caverns, Albuquerque, NM, and more. Stay tuned for more information on where the pledge class this semester will go!
Early every semester, the actives have a retreat to relax and spend time together, to strengthen the bond between the fraternity and members. All actives are welcome to join, as we go on a weekend trip to explore outside of Lubbock.
Recent active retreats have included Possum Kingdom State Park, San Antonio, Palo Duro Canyon, and Vail, Colorado. All active members are eligible for a retreat to remember.
Fellowships usually happen once or more every week. Pledges and actives can organize and run a fellowship at any time! Common fellowships have been going to the corn maze, watching a movie, going roller skating, and so much more. There is no shortage of fun events for the Beta Sigma Chapter, especially with massive events like chapter anniversaries!
