Google Calendar is one of the core tools we use at school. Your class schedule will be pushed into your Google Calendar by Powerschool. Below are some of the common agreements around Google Calendar and some cool facts.

• Try to always keep your Google Calendar up to date.
• If you would like to set up a meeting, send a Calendar invite and use the "find the time" feature.
• Always try to respond to a calendar invite in a timely matter.
• Google Classroom courses have their own calendar. All assignments that have due dates are automatically inputted into these calendars. All your students can see these calendars on their Google Calendar.
• You can set up Calendar notifications to remind you of the things you have scheduled.
• Google Calendar has a great mobile app, check it out.

Subscribe to School Calendars

Directions for Google Calendar and Android Phones

1. Go to your Google Calendar
2. Click the triangle/drop down next to "Other Calendars" and select the "Add by URL" option.
3. Paste the text from the table below into the URL field and then click the "Add Calendar" button.
4. REPEAT steps b & c for each calendar you wish to add.
5. Log into that Google account on your Android phone and make sure general calendar synch is on (in your Google account settings on your phone).
6. On your Android phone open the calendar app and go to Calendars to Display and Calendars to Synch to enable and synch the specific calendars you've added)

Directions for iPhone or iPad

BEFORE YOU BEGIN, make sure you have the most recent iOS on your mobile device. If you get an SSL error following the steps below, your iOS is not compatible with these instructions. If you cannot update your iOS, please visit your campus Help Desk for assistance.

1. Make sure you are accessing this page from your phone.

2. Copy the URL for the calendar you want to add from the table on this page.

3. Go to your settings on your iphone then click Mail, Contacts, Calendars

4. Click add account > other > Add Subscribed Calendar

5. Paste the URL you copied in the Server field

Repeat for each calendar.

Directions for iMac Calendar on your Laptop

1. Launch your iCal software

2. Select Calendar from the menu bar then select Subscribe

3. Paste the URL of the calendar you wish to subscribe to in the box then click OK to complete the process.

Assessment calendars are designed to reduce the stress load of students. When planning for a major assessment piece, project due dates, performance or mile run, please add this event to the Grade level calendar. This is designed for PLCs to be aware of what is going on in other classes.
