Technology is part of the fabric of the Middle School at JIS. With the Internet at their fingertips and personal MacBook Air laptops at their disposal, students embrace a new way of learning, one that is based in inquiry and creativity. The middle school librarian, Kat Calzini, and the technology coach, Todd Davis, work together closely to support students, teachers and parents. A strong emphasis on balance and digital citizenship assure that technology is used properly and that students learn how to navigate their digital world safely and effectively.
