ATHLETE ENTERTAINMENT

Entertainment activities are scheduled daily from 3pm until 10:30pm, with fluctuation dependent on the sport schedule and number of participants out of competition.

BROCK UNIVERSITY

There are two (2) primary entertainment zones offering three (3) spaces:

  1. Jubilee Court

    • Outdoor activities including: corn hole, spikeball, giant games, etc.

    • Lounge access including: bean bag chairs, picnic tables, adirondack chairs, etc.

    • Music and activations

  2. Pond Inlet (Indoor)

    • Lounge access including couches, TV, video games, arcade games, etc.

    • Board games, table games and puzzles

    • Movie nights, karaoke, paint night, etc.

    • Quiet zone for relaxation

  4. Other

13 FOR 13 FESTIVAL

Imagine travelling across Canada without leaving the Niagara Region?! The 13 For 13 Cultural Festival will allow everyone to do just that as they explore both Niagara and Canada in nightly paired celebrations of culture, food, art and fun! Each night, you will have the opportunity to travel to a new municipality within Niagara as they host a provincial/ territorial evening. Hours will vary from night to night, with a typical event scheduled from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. For more information, check it out here.

  • Monday, August 8th - West Lincoln with Saskatchewan

Note: Shuttle transportation for athletes and coaches will be provided from the Village.

NIAGARA PLACE

As Niagara 2022’s premier festival site, Niagara Place will be one of the most exciting and active locations of the 2022 Canada Summer Games! Best of all, admission to the football-field-sized venue will be free of charge for everyone (tell friends and family)! Everyone will have the opportunity to experience Niagara Region’s culture and history through daily programming that will feature local talent, art and cultural experiences.


Scheduled daily from August 7 to 21, 2022, Niagara Place will be located on the grounds of Canada Games Park (CGP) and act as an interactive outdoor festival site for Games visitors to take in live music, art exhibits, and elements of Niagara’s culinary scene. Niagara Place will be home to Indigenous and Francophone Pavilions, providing opportunities for guests to sample food, music, dance and language from various groups that call Niagara home. Other vendors onsite will include N22 merchandise the Pin People (they designed Team Sask's pins)!

COMPETITION

We encourage you to cheer on other teams in other events (Team Sask, other provinces and territories alike). Spectating athletes get transportation and entry at no charge to other competition venues, if seating is available. We want to fill the seats with green, and see a sea of green! Green is the colour!
