Roger Harrison

Diagnosed with end-stage liver disease in Oct 2022 (Cirrhosis with Ascites).  Like the American Buffalo, I “Faced the Storm”,  overcame alcoholism and was listed for liver transplant in Spring 2023.  Thanks to my donor and donor family, I received the gift of transplant on May 15, 2023 at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Center.  Post transplant, I have focused on a healthy lifestyle and wellness.  From a daily goal, in step-down ICU, of taking 50 steps in a day to solo climbing three 14er peaks in Summer 2024.  Overcome. Achieve. Believe.
