Future City's design takes aspects of both Disneyland's utopian Tomorrowland and Blade Runner's dystopian Cyberpunk. It is a city of neon, with flashes constantly alerting guests of new developments in rides, games, and shows. However, it remains distinct from the description "Cyberpunk" because it is never particularly critical of the future it represents. It is a flashy, colorful city filled with potential: in short, the ideal world for videogames to inhabit.
