Description and Summary

Electrical Engineering: This field applies the theories of electricity in order to build and construct machinery, power supplies, circuits, etc. This field deals with the application of electricity, electronics and elctromagentism in order to improve and create certain processes. Electrical engineering has grown into different branches which include power generation, transmission systems, motors, batteries and control sysyems.

Biomedical Engineering: This field relates to the creation of practices, technologies and services applied to the areas of medicine and biology in order to solve a specific probelm or advance the care of patients. Some examples of biomedical engineering applications are diagnosis analysis, new treatment and recovery methods, and implantable medical devices. More specifically, biomedical engineering focuses on advancing human health and health care whenever possible.
