STEM on the Sidelines™ is a fun competition for teams made up of 4-6 high school students who put their STEM skills to the test. Teams are instructed to build and program a Chargers-themed vehicle to complete 3 tasks: The Juke Drill, The Shuttle Drill, and The 6-yard dash. This event aims to foster teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking, with a goal of inspiring the next generation of STEM professionals.

The Justin Express uses a two-side wheel drive with a center strafe wheel, powered by goBILDA motors. It has rear odometry for drift correction and an ultrasonic sensor to detect cones. Using these, the robot automatically corrects its position and can strafe away from obstacles just by changing its target point—no extra code needed.
Impact
Foshay and Team 20505 attended STEM on the Sidelines with the mindset to represent FIRST and get experience with robot competitions before our first competition for this season.
