ARRIVAL AND SET-UP
Directions
From the south. 87 N, exit 30. Take Route 9 North. 8.0 miles past dysfunction junction (intersection with route 73-stay right, on 9 north) turn right on Lobdell Ln.
From the north: 87 S, exit 32. Follow the signs for route 9 south 14.5 km to Lobdell Ln. The turn is 2.0 mi/3.2 km from the Stewart's Shop and Tops Grocery store in downtown Elizabethtown. Turn left on Lobdell Ln.
On site
There will be a sign for camp at the turn for Lobdell Ln, camp is at the end of the road (0.7mi/1km). There you will see signs for the parking lot as well as the loading/unloading area. Camping vans can park in the parking lot. There will be signs and lights to guide your way.
Come check in at base camp and we will orient you to the site.
Hours of Arrival + DEparture
Camp starts at 4pm on Thursday and closes at 4pm on Sunday.
Plan to arrive before 11pm - it is a rustic site and hard to find your way around when we are are not staffing the welcome area.
If you arrive late, we won't be awake! We will do our best to light your way! Set up, make yourself at home and we’ll see you in the morning.
Cell phones
Cell phone service is is not great in the Adirondacks...we cannot guarantee responses to Facebook or email after Wednesday afternoon. Make sure you have the directions on you before you leave!
Help us keep it beautiful
You can dispose of trash and recycling on site. Please bring returnable/refundables with you. AVOID GLASS! we want to make sure that barefoot walking remains safe for all users of the space now and in the future.

If you pre-purchased a meal plan, you still want to bring:

Hand sanitizer/wipes
Biodegradable soap (there is a shower house, portable camping showers and a stream)
Toothbrush, toothpaste
Towel
Clothes-I think you’ve got this. Just remember, it can be hot during the day and chilly at night. This is an all weather event (raingear).
Good hiking/walking shoes if you'd like to use the miles of trails
Bathing suit and towel- there is a stream nearby
