Currently supporting the National CST Educational TPD with the launch of a national educational programme for the United Kingdom.

A pilot is currently underway for the above course aimed at Core Surgical Trainees Year 1 and 2. For this group the course is necessity for entry into T&O at ST3 Level

"The Midlands' Simulation Networks provide a platform to increase communication and collaboration between simulation providers, higher education institutions and Health Education England. Together the East and West Midlands networks promote innovation, educational research and equitable resource access through quarterly network meetings and biannual showcase events. The cross-network Midlands XR Technology working group has been created within this to explore and provide high quality education research on Extended Reality technologies in healthcare education. This is one example of how the network is able to be reactive to new and developing Immersive technologies, for the betterment of its members, the region and healthcare education in general."
