Who we are...

Steven Kolber is a proud public Government school teacher who has been teaching English, History and English as an additional language for 10 years. He is passionate about teacher collaboration which he supports through organising Teach Meets, running #edureading (an online academic reading group), being part of the #AussieED twitter group and taking groups of teachers to Cambodia to run teacher development workshops with Teachers Across Borders Australia. He leverages technology to share teaching ideas and develop teachers through the ‘Teachers Educational Review’ podcast and his own YouTube channel ‘Mr Kolber’s Teaching’. He is especially interested in the future of Education and the role for democracy within emerging technological futures.

Josh Velez is a Primary School Education and Learning Specialist. He's an inspiring speaker and presenter with a focus on positive-student relationships. He is an avid learner and educator, always willing to share ideas with colleagues and has served as a mentor to many. He is adept at using technology to empower his classroom and his students to reach the wider world and learn beyond the confines of a single classroom.

Brenna McNeil is an international educator and pedagogical leader. Having lived and worked in different cultures and school contexts around the world since 2003, homesickness finally struck and she returned to Australia in 2018. Her experiences abroad have shaped her beliefs about education, specifically the importance of respecting all individuals, all cultures, and all ways of knowing.
