The last phase was where we evaluated the project outcome. It was important to address two aspects of the project evaluation, on one hand, the evaluation of the students carried out through the forms, and on the other hand, involve teachers and schools feedback on what went well and what could have been improved.
This activity was divided into 3 major sub-activities:
a) Analyse surveys
Student forms was essential for measuring the impact of the project. Were the activities exciting? Did the activities address interesting subjects? It was interesting to compare between activities and see which activities were best evaluated and by whom.
b) Debriefing with Schools
The debriefing meeting with teachers form participating countries was essential, on the one hand, to understand the real feedback of the interaction in the classroom, and also and mainly, to understand the overall evaluation of the project. Were the objectives achieved? Were the tools clear and efficient?
c) Communication & Dissemination
And last but not least, the need to define concrete and effective steps to disseminate the results of “Teaching STEM and
STEAM together” throughout Europe. We created a good practice booklet that can be used and uploaded on project website. The booklet is available in printed and digital version
