Cova Reflections

Blended Learning Innovation

My blended, learning, innovation plan is still in progress; however, with the time I have put into it over the years it has come along way. It didn’t just begin when I started the DLL program. It was initiated in my first year of teaching (2008). I always wanted to do things a little differently because each year I would change things up to improve my instruction. I repeatedly wondered if I was having fun teaching the content, and were my students having fun learning it? Through the years I found that technology integration seemed to be the key to classroom engagement. It wasn’t until I started the DLL program that I realized “Blended Learning” was the piece that genuinely, heightened engagement along with providing meaningful instruction at the same time.
