So what does this have to do with technology? Technology makes accessing resources extremely easy. The ASD Mindfulness site, created with the help of four of my amazing colleagues, Carrie Gerend, Ashley Gonwa, Missy Miller, and Christen Steele, is full of guided visualizations, breathing, sound, and yoga resources.

Included in this site are clickable guided visualization videos, links to breathing activities, sounds and music to play in the classroom, and yoga lessons.
Below are some additional resources around mindfulness in the classroom.
Hopefully after reading this edition of Teaching w/ Tech, you can carve out a few minutes in your day to use the resources above and practice mindfulness. Why wouldn't we want to add a practice to our daily routine that reduces stress and anxiety, increases attention, and improves our capacity to build relationships?
