Expectations

As we progress into the year, we will continue to raise the bar on expectations and performance. Not because it is a requirement, but because our students are ready for it. Our students are products of a stellar staff, collaborative community, and nurturing support from people like you! We are grateful for your demonstration of superb modeling, creating a nurturing environment, and providing a positive academic support for your student to succeed and be the phenomenal person they are today!

As we deepen our vocabulary skills with more complex and enriched words, we will also participate in activities that require higher order thinking to develop and apply critical writing and reading comprehension skills in a collaborative space.

Your child is in a loving and nurturing environment. In 7th grade, it is essential that our learners develop a need to be intrinsically motivated to fully appreciate the breadth of what this unit will provide for them to succeed. As your student's Language Arts Teacher, it is an honor to be at this amazing school that is deemed by the State of California as a California Distinguished School and by the Campaign for Business and Education Excellence as an Honor Roll School. This is possible for the awesome community that encourages our learners such as you, to do their very best!
