Focusing on the characteristics that describe me as a teacher, I should say that mainly there are four that I consider important or representative:
The first one is organised. I am a person who always try to have everything prepared and ordered. I think this feature is important to be a teacher as you are in charge of doing many things at the same time and if you are not organized the class can became a chaos.
Secondly, I am also flexible. I am able to adapt to different situations and contexts. From my point of view that is one of the most important points that a teacher should have, as you never know what will happen in class.
The third element that characterizes me is the empathy. I always try to get in students skin or perspective, in order to know what they would like to work, why they are acting in this way, what they can feel if I say this or that, etc.
Finally I consider myself an innovative person. I really like to try new things in class and see how they work. In my opinion without innovation there is not progress. What is more, if you do not change constantly you will get rust over time, so be an open minded person and a life long learner.
Regarding my teaching experiences, I should say that although they are not many, they are very different among them. The first experience that I had was a few years ago working as a camp counsellor. Although it was not formal education, it was the first time I was in charge of a group of children during almost two weeks. I will never forget all the things I learnt from this experience, as I had to teach them hygienic habits, such as brush their teeth, routines, and even values, for example respect and fellowship.
The second opportunity that I had to teach took place while I was in practicum I. In this case I could not have the chance to teach a formal lesson as we were only allowed to observe. Instead of taking a passive role, I tried to be active acting as a teacher assistant (thanks to my tutor permission) clarifying student doubts and helping to solve other issues. Lastly, this experience can be summarized as powerful and beneficial, considering that although I could not participate as I would, it was the first time I was in contact with formal education.
My classmates and I in the school were we did practicum I.
Thirdly and the most enriching experience that I lived was in London. Everything started last year when I decided to go to Richmond with the aim of carrying out my Practicum there. This working experience lasted two months, so it is the largest one I have ever experienced. Moreover, another new element was the role that I had to assume as a Spanish teacher. This role allowed me for the first time to see from another perspective (as a teacher) how to teach a foreign language. Personally, on the one hand it was hard to do it but, considering that it was my first time but on the other one it was also rewarding. Furthermore, apart from learning a lot about how to teach a new language through songs and games (as they did), thanks to this teaching period I am more aware and conscious of how my mother tongue works.

Related to the fourth moment in which I could act as a teacher, I may say that it was in Rosa dels Vents working as an English teacher. Although I had to follow a strict methodology and I had not a lot of freedom I learnt many things, as I have never taught English for students and families before. In addition, the context was different as it was in summer, so the learners were in their leisure time. This new situation made me act in a more dynamic way and force me to be more creative.

The fifth and also the last period I would like to talk about is related with the private classes that I currently give to some children from my town. The most important thing that I am learning is to be flexible, as I have to adapt to the children needs. In other words, I do not know what subject I will have to work, which kind of questions I will be asked or what level is the one that the student has. To do that I use resources such as Kahoot, Lyrics training, Quizizz, among other ones as well as strategies like games (memory, pictionary…) or songs.
