Morning Announcements

OBJECTIVE:

The following list of over 25 daily morning announcements, organized by grade level (primary, junior, intermediate, senior) are based on the 10 IHM key themes listed in the User Guide section. Each announcement can be read in one minute or less. The references for the morning announcements are included as endnotes. This format allows for announcements to be read aloud, preventing unintended errors and/or confusion from in-text citations.

The end of this section includes a few special announcements. The “Green Square Campaign” is for January 29th and commemorates victims of anti-Muslim hate crimes. Special celebratory announcements for the beginning of Ramadan, and the days preceding Eid-al-Fitr and Eid-al-Adha can also be found here.

Sharing morning announcements with students and staff is an easy way to celebrate the month and promote understanding.
