Community Service Requirement
Each quarter, JROTC cadets are expected to give back by participating in volunteer events that support our school and local community. Through these opportunities, cadets earn eight hours of community service while developing leadership, responsibility, and a heart for service. Below, you’ll find a variety of approved volunteer opportunities where cadets can make a meaningful impact and serve others.

Developing Citizens of Character
Integrity first, Service before self, and Excellence in all we do
"We will not lie, steal, or cheat, nor tolerate among us anyone who does."
Welcome to Timber Creek High School Air Force JROTC
Parents, Guardians, and Cadets,
Welcome to a new school year! We are excited to welcome you to the Timber Creek High School Air Force JROTC Aerospace Science Program. We value the support of our students, parents, and guardians and look forward to another successful year together.
The mission of our program is to develop citizens of character by instilling the values of citizenship, service to the community and nation, personal responsibility, integrity, and a sense of accomplishment. Through engaging coursework and hands-on experiences, cadets learn about civilian and military aviation, leadership, teamwork, and civic responsibility.
AFJROTC is an elective course that offers valuable academic benefits. Cadets earn elective credit, may receive a Health Opportunities through Physical Education (HOPE) credit, and can earn a fine arts credit after successfully completing two years in the program.
Our classes emphasize responsibility, mutual respect, self-discipline, and integrity. Learning extends beyond the classroom through field trips and community service opportunities designed to enhance aerospace knowledge and leadership skills. Past trips have included visits to Kennedy Space Center, Patrick Space Force Base, aviation museums, the Orlando Science Center, local airports, drill team and color guard competitions, and outreach events at local elementary and middle schools.
To our incoming cadets:
We are thrilled to welcome you to the FL-20041 family! Get ready for a year filled with learning, leadership, teamwork, and real-world experiences. Challenge yourself, aim high, try new things, and support one another as we grow and succeed together.
Important Note:
All required items, including textbooks and uniforms, are provided at no cost. Participation in the Air Force JROTC program does not obligate students to military service.
