The Connection between Working Memory and Tech Skills
Good tips, e.g.: "When I taught a fourth-grade class how to build a website using Google Sites, I began counting the directions I gave my students. There were many—I had a large amount of information in an extremely compact lesson. Even though I used colors, visuals, and examples to make the lesson more interesting, I noticed that some students shut down, overwhelmed by the amount of information. That experience led me to realize the importance of working memory."

Lunch Doodles with Mo Willems
A nice brain break, he's the author of Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! There are quite a few episodes on YouTube. And maybe the doodles can connect to your content!
This one is an intro...looks like there are at least 15 episodes. A nice activity for when you all need an educational art break.
(You don't have to show the whole video.)
If your kiddos don't have blank paper, have them save anything to doodle on...cardboard, paper bags, etc. It's a great way to recycle/reuse!
Live Animal Cams
Coming back from break? Put this on...
This one is from the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
At their website, you can pick from a variety of animals.
A wonderful way for students to make observations, watch how animals move, how they are structured, and even a great writing activity to practice description, movement, using strong adjectives.
