Fun Facts

The very 1st cross country race TCA competed in was in 2000 at Fox Run Park. 2 boys raced.
Never once in eight years (2002-2009) did anyone on the girls team ever finish ahead of Emily or Kaitlin Hanenburg
A Dallas Mavericks jersey (pictured above) has been passed down from a senior to a freshman on the boys team since 2002 (started with Josh Sharp). The freshman keeps it all 4 years before choosing a freshman to hand it off to. Barrett Paas is the current jersey holder.
TCA girl's 17 state championships are the most in the state of Colorado. The next closest is Lake County from Leadville who has 11.
TCA boy's 10 championships are 2nd only to (also) Lake County who leads with 19.

TCA Junior High XC

A key factor in the success of TCA Cross Country is the strong foundation built through its junior high program, which nearly all of the high school runners came up through. Led by longtime coach Melanie Brim, the Junior High Titans have consistently dominated their leagues and captured three State Championships along the way:
