有線耳機是二十世紀末的日常記憶，就像Netterm，Cuteftp,  Geocities，即使被迫走入歷史了，記憶啟發生活的反思力道卻從未減緩。

抽絲剝繭的過程需要寂寞與耐心，不能畏懼失敗與挑戰。只要不斷自我催眠耳機傳出美妙音樂的那份滿足感，就會有強韌動力，鼓舞自己堅持到最後。

學術研究其實也有異曲同工的意涵，每一個研究都像是一坨待解開的耳機線團， 等待研究者主動探索，勇敢拆解，體驗失敗，最終解開問題，傳來悅耳的旋律。 

於是，Tangled Earbuds Lab 這個名稱就產生了。

Back in the days of wired headphones, listening to music always started with untangling the cords. Looking at the tangled mess of plastic wires, you’d feel lost, unsure of where to begin. You’d try to pull one strand, only to make things worse—a classic case of the butterfly effect where one wrong move affects everything. Eventually, you come to realize:

Untangling takes patience. You need to sit with the mess, work through it bit by bit, and not get discouraged when things don’t go your way. What kept you going? The promise of good music at the end.

Research works the same way. Every project starts as a tangled mess of unknowns, waiting for someone to dive in, take on the challenge, push through failures, and eventually make sense of it all—until, finally, everything clicks, and you hear that satisfying "aha" moment, like music to your ears.
