For this project, I addressed misconceptions about American foreign aid and advocated for a more informed, empathetic view of international responsibility/aid. I used storytelling, historical context (the Rwandan Genocide), and researched data to support my argument. This project is an example of my passion of international affairs and my belief that communication and bridge cultures for there to be moral and political justice and understanding. My providing a clear case for a reform, I challenged misinformation and spark thoughtful conversation within this piece.

Social Action Project Final
I decided to add to this project to this section in addition to my State of the Union Manuscript. In this project, I used a bill I wrote in Youth in Government that was sent off to local legislation. This bill is one I created based off of personal experience and my passion of language. It is a call for action and a heavily researched bill for public schools to teach a second language.
