1. Do listening 54 "What's in your bag" on page 29 (or look at the script on page 118 for an example). Write about what is in your bag. Write as much detail as you can. Next week you will talk about what is in your bag with your classmates.

2. Look at the adjectives for good and bad on page 32. Express your opinion using these adjectives about things in your life. For example

A: What do you think of this university?

B: I think it’s terrific, how about you?

Write 5 questions and your answers to these questions using the adjectives on page 32.

3. Find a picture of a room from the Internet. Write about the things in the room. What are they and where are they? Write as much detail as you can. Next week you will ask each other questions about what is in your room. For example:

There is a wooden table in the middle of my room. There are some cycling magazines on the table. etc.
