Talking about what we can and can't do

1.  Think of a famous comic book hero like Superman (Japanese or foreign OK). Don’t tell the other members of your group who it is. Ask questions like “Can he fly?” “Can he climb up walls?”.  Guess who it is.

2. Read about Nicola and Gio Benedetti (pages 38 and 39) Discuss the questions at the bottom of page 38. You can see an interview with Nicola Benedetti on YouTube if you are interested

3. Make some requests to your group members. Use different levels of politeness.Here is a YouTube video explaining how to be polite in English.
