1. Do listening 54 "What's in your bag" on page 29 (or look at the script on page 118 for an example). Talk about what you have in your bag. Ask questions about everyone’s things.
2. Find a picture of a room from the Internet. Talk about the things in the room. Ask each other questions about what is in the room. Is there a sofa? Are there any plants? Etc. Here is a YouTube video telling you how to talk about your home in English.
3. Look at the adjectives for good and bad on page 32. Here are some more. Express your opinion using these adjectives about things in your life. For example A: What do you think of this university? B: I think it’s terrific, how about you?
4. Find a partner. A read about the White House on pages 30 and 31 of your text book. B read about the Imperial Palace in Tokyo
