The Hawkes Bay and Southern Hawkes Bay Smallbore Rifle Association teams met at the Hastings Club range on Friday night, 6 June 2014 to shoot the first of two rounds of their annual inter-association shoot. The honours were shared with Hawkes Bay taking a win in the Open division and Southern Hawkes Bay had a win in the B Team event.
This match is a precursor to the Southern Hawkes Bay Open Championships to be held at Dannevirke this coming weekend. Top score on the night was Robbie McNair with a 198.13
