Ranked Choice Voting-question ?
SJR 1 Constitutional Amendment to require every active registered voter to receive a “mail in” ballot. This was introduced and passed without a hearing and no notice, on the last day of the Special Session, November 19, 2025. Because it is a Constitutional Amendment, the Governor has no part in the process. It will need to pass again at the next Legislative session in 2027 and then be placed on the ballot. It passed the Senate with 12 Democrats voting yes, 4 Republicans voting No and 4 Republicans and 1 Democrat excused. (VERY CONCERNING!)
