Nevada Legislative sessions are held every other year in odd-numbered years. They begin on the first Monday in February after the election of members of the Senate(23 members) and Assembly(42 members). Sessions are limited to 120 calendar days.
The elections will coincide with the elections for other offices, including the state Assembly. There are 16 Democratic-held senate seats up for election in 2024, 3 Republican-held seats, and 1 open seat with no incumbent.
