Kangaroo Mouse

The harsh lands of the forbidden heated deserts and outback are nothing for this particular mouse. Born to withstand the arid dryness, a kangaroo mouse or otherwise also known as a Jerboa prevents their feet from being burnt by hopping. Their tails give them balance, their huge feet are packed with strong muscles to help propel them. Suited to the wilds and less to settlements, they are born to be great hunters.

Make a Kangaroo Mouse

The thrill of tracking and hunting. Keen eyes and a nose for sniffing out targets. Huge feet and a broad accent, the Jerboa/ kangaroo mouse are quite the charmer to the ladies. Nothing is left to waste from a kill, everything is used to create something they can eat, use or wear.

1.1 Attributes

Your Kangaroo mouse has 3 attributes. These measure their basic strength and weaknesses.

For each of the Kangaroo mouse's attributes, roll 3d6. Keep the two highest dice results for a value between 2-12. You must put your highest stat in DEX.

Kangaroo mice are very fast and dexterous.

1.2 HP, pips and backgrounds

Roll 1d6 for your Kangaroo mouse's starting pips. Also, roll a d6 for your HP. Match your HP result to the table below to find out how your Kangaroo mouse came to leave the wilderness for the mouse settlements.

3hp - Bogan - She’d be grouse mate!... yeah nothing like holding a weapon on your front porch while sitting in a rocking chair. Damn locals come annoying every time. 4hp - Tradie - G’day!...You packed up your bag of tricks. Setting your sights on the motherlands. All the tools of your trade are firmly stored in your mind, now to make some pips so you can come home to wed your sweetheart. Hammer

5hp - Dole Bludger - What a brothel!... There just aren't any pips in farming anymore. The work is just too hard and why work when I can go to the settlements and get stuff for free. Yeah, I think I will stay with family and mooch for a bit. See, settlement living isn't that expensive, those fools need to learn from me. 5 pips

6hp - Convict - Strife! , yup fair dinkum trouble. Got myself caught stealing livestock. Damn coppers. However you managed, while being transported to the settlements, to get away. Now with a new identity and fresh look you can finally reform…. Or not. Nothing

Treat usage as magic

Effect: Upon the magical boomerang are carvings of old. Each one a symbol of an element. Before throwing the boomerang, think of what you want to find. Have a clear picture then throw it. The boomerang will fly in the direction of what you seek for a short distance before returning to your hand. Mark usage after using this ability.

Recharge: Place in a sealed black box to prevent it from seeing or hearing anything while it rests and recovers. This resets its knowledge, thus free to be given new targets.

Lasso

A strong lasso made of sturdy threat. Has a range of 1ft and can grapple an object or creature.
