What is Tales from Equestria?
Tales from Equestria is a My Little Pony Alternate Universe (AU) set about 500 years after the end of Friendship is Magic. It provides a framework of events, Non-Player Characters (NPCs), and lore for creators to interact with. While previously an ARPG, it is now built to encourage flexibility and creativity among creators without arbitrary grind or management. It is open for anyone to utilize for artwork, writing, roleplay, or other creative works as long as rules are followed. There is also a Discord community to promote collaboration and innovation.
What Can You Do?
Create art, literature, or other creative works within the AU. (See Citing)
Roleplay within the AU.
Create fanworks on NPCs and/or canon events within the AU.
Collaborate on our Discord toward canon events, characters, and lore. (See Discord)
Create and sell adoptables that would fit in the AU.
What Can’t You Do?
Claim the world, lore, and canon events as your own or use them uncredited.
Rewrite or replace canon events or characters. (See Spinoff AU)
Create characters related to NPCs or canon FiM characters. (See Spinoff AU)
Create exploitative, harassing, or illegal content using the AU.
Monetize the AU storylines, lore, or NPCs.
