E5: develop and distribute resource packets on advocacy
Between February 2022 and June 2022, the Advocacy Development Committee began to build a digital library for members and website visitors to have access to advocacy information from the committee, ILA and our partners Raise Your Hand Texas.
E14: Other Educational Efforts
Members of the TALE Advocacy Development Committee have been encouraged to use this in their email signature lines to further educate people on their work
E2: present conference sessions on legislative issues
At the Annual TALE Conference, held in February of 2022, the Advocacy committee hosted a workshop for attendees to learn more about advocacy and the committee.

At TALE, we believe that part of advocating is know how to help students explore and expand their literacy skills. This virtual PD opportunity is just one of those ways teachers can expand their advocacy activities.
