TALE's Advocacy Development committee published advocacy information related to advocacy efforts in the following TALE newsletters:
Volume 8, Issue 4
Volume 9, Issue 1
Volume 9, Issue 2
These newsletters were emailed to TALE members and posted for public access on TALE's website. Advocacy-related information included committee changes in lieu of a non-legislative year, information about advocacy award recipients, and an overview of advocacy activities in the midst of a pandemic.
One of TALE's Advocacy Development committee members, Dr. Sara Ranzau, created a resource on the TALE website that was easily accessible through a QR code. The Advocacy committee passed out bookmarks with the QR code to encourage TALE members to become involved in advocacy efforts, learn about current legislative and policy issues, and how to contact their representatives. This QR code also provided a way to share contact information for elected officials on TALE's social media platforms.
