4Change - Portugal

4Change is a non-profit cooperative (NGDO) founded in 2005 to contribute for a global citizenship and to the capacity building of social economy. We are also a 4C network of professionals that cooperate for a more equitable future - contributing to a community where all stakeholders collectively generate social impact.

We share resources, processes, languages and metrics - 4Change's approach is based on a more participatory, transparent and inclusive set of tools and practices. We have experience on global citizenship, local development and communication for development/advocacy projects (local, national and international), on capacity building, monitoring and evaluation of projects and programmes. In the last few years we are engaging more with local communities and developing research and practice on civic media literacy.

ASBA Foundation- Armenia

ASBA is non-governmental organization working to promotes decent and affordable housing for all citizens of Armenia by introducing innovations and best practice in housing provision and management, citizen engagement in decision making to improve housing and utility provision, and supporting local actions and policy dialogue.

ASBA Foundation promotes networking and capacity building for local civil society organizations and self-governance structures to support citizens in local initiatives. We are implementing the similar project by establishing and strengthening a Network of Civil Society Organizations to support solving and monitoring local issues through an online platform which is an open and transparent mechanism for citizens to reflect on issues and also serve as a database to register the overall development. We are strengthening the capacities of Network members in building cooperation through Social Partnership Workshops and targeted support to partnership initiatives with local municipalities.

Cromo Foundation, Hungary

Cromo Foundation was established in 2002 in order to contribute to the local and regional cooperation of non-governmental, business and governmental actors and thus to strengthen a participatory, active and democratic society in Hungary and Europe. We wish to see local organizations well managed and effective; local citizens active and committed to participation; local communities vibrant and sustainable; society inclusive and tolerant. We have many experiences from communicating, approaching them as well as involving local NGOs. Being Cromo as a training organization, we have great experiences in needs assessment, designing and conducting online/offline training programs on community organizing tools.

Multi Kulti Collective, Bulgaria

Multi Kulti Collective is one of the leading Bulgarian not-for-profit organizations working on migrant and refugee integration, community development and human rights since 2011. It operates both on grass-root and policy level to achieve a bigger impact and social change both nationally and European. It also works as a social enterprise that has been empowering migrants since 2013. MKC is based in Sofia but in 2015 it grew to a social franchise in the 8 biggest Bulgarian cities. MKC has a successful track record in big national media campaigns, awareness-raising, using arts and culture for social change, innovative training, solid research, comprehensive monitoring of national integration policies, policy analysis, strategic advocacy. MKC’s projects have been featured as social innovations and best practices on national and EU level.

Social Impact Hub “Effendi Villa”, Georgia

Social Impact Hub “Effendi Villa” is a Georgian non-governmental organization working in the field of community development through cultural heritage preservation and promotion. We are based in the town of Kobuleti in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara. Our primary goal is to preserve and revitalize historic buildings, communities and places in the region of Adjara. We work with a variety of stakeholders in accomplishing this mission, including property owners, residents, neighborhoods, developers, cultural heritage organizations, educational institutions and public officials.We focus on historic preservation and sustainable community planning which includes working with tangible and intangible cultural heritage.

Voluntary Youth Association, Azerbaijan

Voluntary Youth Association is an initiative group which established in May 2015. The aim of VYA is enhancing social skills and capabilities of youth, rural developments, creating and moderating cross-sectoral cooperation among NGOs, Governmental authorities, private sector representatives and etc. Our methods for achieving these goals are social art tools (Forum Theatre, social painting) Workshops and seminars, capacity building training, social research, and surveys.
