TAIGA funding
Project-writing support grants (25kSEK, discontinued)
Do you have some ideas for SAI research and you would like to write a mid to large-scale project about it, but you lack the time to write it through?
The SAI focus area offers grants for supporting emerging project writing activities.
Conditions:Â
you want to lead the writing the project
at least two partners are from UMU, from two different disciplines
the project is new (it should be significantly different from any previous attempted proposal)
the project involves the use of SAI methods or research
If so, we offer to fund 25kSEK for any expense relevant for writing this project (e.g. time, rooms, fika, data gathering). We also offer further support for helping to consolidate (visibility on the website, network). The funding is allocated without discontinuity (no calls, just reach us).
Please reach out to lois.vanhee@umu.se for further details.
Seed funding (100kSEK, discontinued)
Do you have an exciting research idea you seek to develop but would need extra resources and/or some time? We offer 100kSEK grants for any initiative allowing to build capacity on SAI-related research.
This line of funding is no longer available on a sustained basis, but occasional projects can be funded in case there is an idea you wish to explore. If this is the case, please reach out to us: lois.vanhee@umu.se
