Diés

Diés Emerson is a child prodigy, well-known Siderealtor, and older sister of Edie Emerson. As a young child, Diés immediately surpasses her parents' expectations- when she expresses her desire to abandon the family business and become a Siderealtor, her initially-hesitant parents are pressured into agreeing with her. Demonstrating the independence she's known for, she learns the art of transformation into a motivation-based Siderealtor form without the aid of an item spirit. It's around this time that she learns she has the ability to convey information telepathically to anyone in any universe, given that she can track them.

At the age of 15, Diés travels to Tabance with her eye on the Fierce Weatherfriends, a famous Siderealtor team with strict entry requirements. She manages to defeat each member (thus gaining access) over the course of 2 years and is inducted into the group shortly after as its only unassisted member. In Tabance, she has access to the Megagrid, a database under the jurisdiction of the Tabance Broadcasting Corporation, where she finds herself learning about the forsaken third dimension, Golana.

After a few months of leveling up with the Weatherfriends, she reaches level 19 and climbs to fifteenth place on the Siderealtor XP Leaderboard. Knowing that reaching level 20 will get her into first place, she starts taking on more difficult enemies, but finds that even the most powerful monsters in Tabance are no longer making dents in her XP. She decides to travel to Golana with the help of an old blog from the Megagrid. In Golana, though, she finds that the enemies are consistently the same power level as her- moreover, she contracts UMD and gets sliced up in battle with a powerful mutant. This forces a dilemma onto her: if she lets her motivation get out of control in order to level up and heal her scars, she will fall prey to UMD and start mutating. If she transforms back, she will die from slice damage. This problem, along with the problem of her broken portal back in Tabance, leaves her with no choice but to roam Golana, occasionally reaching out with her pan-dimension telepathy in order to hopefully contact someone that can help her return to Tabance.
