đ The Village of Tabaij â A Wooden World
Once upon a not-so-forgotten time, tucked beneath a sliver of moon and two twinkling stars, there stood a tiny village â three wooden houses, two wooden trees, and everything in between... made entirely of wood.
Yes, everything. Even the trees â and yes, I know what you're thinking: âIsnât wood from trees?â
Ah, but in this village, the trees themselves are wood through and through. Itâs a world of wood, a carved-out realm where every grain tells a tale.
At dawn, the very first creature to stir is an old crow perched on the tallest dry branch. It stretches its wooden wings with a yawning âkaa-kaa!â Yes â even that crow is carved from wood.
And the woodcutter?
Of course, he too is made of wood. Wooden arms, wooden legs, a wooden axe held tight in his wooden hands â even his thoughts might clatter like dry twigs. His walk creaks, his voice thumps â everything about him... wooden.
As the sun climbs and tree-shadows shrink, a tiny bird named âPhutkiâ falls asleep atop the clay pot head of a scarecrow, waiting for her mother. Sheâs from faraway â not of this wooden village. A visitor from a distant place called âKhorkhoriâ, here to collect firewood, Just one turn of old Gaialore, and the bitter cold will come rushing in â imagine that!
But let me return to the tale â
âOne day, just like always, our wooden woodcutter set off early with his wooden axe. But lo! Black clouds had begun to gather above, rain was nearâĻâ
And just like that, I began telling you the tale of the old woodcutter again!
But no, Iâm not here to tell his story today.
Today, Iâve come to tell you stories about storytelling itself.
Yes â stories of stories! Of the strange, whispering world of Tabaij.
Stories that drift over the Ghughu Hills, stories that swim in the colorful, round-eyed wooden fishes of the Nilaj River, which bends shyly near Tepantar.
Once you see them frolic in the waters, youâll know youâre close to our village.
Follow the thorny trail past Nelo Forest, and there it is â the little enchanted wooden village of Tabaij.
And me?
Why, Iâm simply the one who gathers and tells these tales â of many moods, many times, many forms.
Right here, in this blog â the one we call âGolpo Blog-er Asorâ
đ˛Â
Little words, little stories â waiting just for you.
Come visit during your tea break or while time takes a breath.
And if you find the scent of wood tickling your nose,
Know that a story has found its way to your heart.
...
On a floor of forgotten dust, two shadows reached but never touched. Between them â a mirror, arched like ancient gates, reflected the sky
And in that reflection, a silence lingered â the kind carved deep into wood
Our ornaments begin here â in the pause between fingers, in the hush between footfalls
Each piece from Tabaij is not just an object, but a whisper :
of stories untold, spirits unnamed, and loves never quite held
Let your fingers trace what time could not
