The Troop organization and leadership structure is made up of adults and scout leaders. The adult leaders are there to insure that the scouting principles are followed by providing guidance and training. The guiding principles of scouting states that the troop be boy-led. The adult leaders are there to teach, train, step aside and let the scouts do their job. The goal is to let the scouts plan and run their own meetings, plan their own outings and activities and teach the necessary skills to other scouts, with little adult intervention.
