Abstract:
This thought-provoking article delves into the cyclical landscape of global power dynamics, with a particular focus on the East challenging Western dominance after a history of suppression. It explores historical patterns of world order and how the United States and its allies have historically shaped the global landscape aggressively from Ukraine to East Asia, whereas the East is much more confident and silent, focusing on prosperity. The rise of the East, including China's economic transformation and its leadership role alongside Russia and others in the East, is thoroughly examined. Additionally, the article discusses the changing dynamics in the South China Sea and its potential to become a global arena, along with its compliance with Western stances. It concludes by emphasising the rise of reshaped multipolarity and the necessity for a multifaceted approach to national security in an evolving world to establish foremost peace.
