27 April 2024
Next month (May 2024), the Bangladesh Army will organize a joint exercise on Bangladeshi soil, in which China's PLA, or People's Liberation Army, will participate.
China's military spokesman, Senior Colonel Wu Qian, confirmed this on Thursday. Furthermore, the exercise has been named "China-Bangladesh Golden Friendship 2024."
Indeed, military officers and high-ranking government officials possess far more knowledge than the general public. They consistently understand who our genuine or natural adversary is and their level of power. Consequently, they articulate their opinions based on this awareness at various junctures. Frequently, individuals assert that officials have overlooked the interests of the state, particularly its defense policy. However, in actuality, they have not forgotten.
Essentially, India is our natural adversary. Despite maintaining friendly relations with them, India is undoubtedly the nation with which we may potentially engage in future conflicts. Bearing this in mind, Bangladesh is bolstering its military partnerships with countries like China, resulting in this exercise being conducted on Bangladeshi soil.
However, amid these developments, India has also issued its response regarding the joint exercise involving the Bangladesh and Chinese armies on Bangladeshi territory. Nevertheless, it is anticipated that their response will not yield the desired outcome, as the government is currently focused on the exercise matter.
It is expected that the professionalism of the Bangladesh Army and mutual understanding will enhance on a global scale, providing us with an opportunity to extend our influence worldwide. martyr.
