Searching for specific trial types

To retrieve results of specific trial types you can limit your search after you have completed it.  This is an easy way to highlight the best type of evidence for specific question types

After finalising your search

• • Click on the Additional Limits button

The easiest limit to use is the Clinical Queries option.  Clinical Queries are listed as question types, therapy, diagnosis, prognosis etc as well as a review option.  Using Clinical Queries will limit the results of the search to the best evidence for the question type you select.

• Then click Limit

You can see above that this limit has dramatically reduced the search results
