The Friends of Syracuse Latin PTO Fund is excited to offer scholarships to students who had a meaningful and positive experience at Syracuse Latin School. This fund was created using funds from the Syracuse Latin PTO through the Central New York Community Foundation to support Latin students now and in the future.

2026 marks the very first time these scholarships will be awarded, honoring members of the first Syracuse Latin class, graduating high school.

As part of the application, you will be asked to reflect on how you have lived up to the Syracuse Latin School mission. This includes how you contributed to an inclusive community, engaged in meaningful learning, and prepared yourself to make a positive impact beyond high school.

2026 Scholarship Details

• Two scholarships of $750 each

• Scholarships will be awarded directly to students and may be used for tuition, fees, supplies or other expenses associated with continuing education
  
  

Who Can Apply? 

You’re eligible if you:

• Completed 8th grade at Syracuse Latin School

• Attended Syracuse Latin School for at least four years

• Are graduating from a Syracuse City School District high school (you will be required to provide a copy of your transcript)

• Plan to continue your education after high school, including college, technical school, or other training programs

• Application Deadline: May 15, 2026
