Syosset E.L.I.T.E. #10419, is a robotics team that abbreviates, “Excellence and Leadership In Technology and Engineering”, team #10419 is one of many robotics teams from Syosset High School that is competing in FTC in 2020. Our team consists of fourteen sophomore individuals. We compete in a robotics competition run by FIRST Robotics, called the FIRST Tech Challenge. FIRST Stands for “For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology,” which essentially sums up what the FIRST organization does by inspiring young students to engage in technology and engineering.

Our team participates in a robotics competition from the organization FIRST, and we love having fun while preparing for our competitions. This is will be our second year and we can't wait to find out what FIRST has planned for us after the Skystone game. During our freshman year, we emphasized a clear message from FIRST, which is referred to as Gracious Professionalism. To us, this is a system between opponents and teammates that spreads kindness and respect for people not only in competitions but for people throughout the world.
