1. Course Information & Level Assessment
Q: How do you determine student levels for swimming, dance, and synchronized swimming?
A: We use our own custom leveling system to track skill progression. For details, please refer to our guide here: [program information]
Q: Which class and level should I choose for my child?
A: We will place current and returning students in the appropriate level automatically. New students require a free pre-registration evaluation. Please contact us to schedule an evaluation date.
Q: Do you offer trial classes before committing to a full session?
A: Yes! We offer a one-time trial class for new students so you can experience our program before enrolling in a full session. Please contact us in advance to check availability and schedule a time.
2. Registration & Payment Options
Q: My family has more than one child who would like to enroll. How does registration work for families with multiple kids?
A: Our program allows registration by family. For example, if you have two children and each would like to take two lessons per week, you can sign up for the 4-lessons-per-week package to receive the maximum discount.
Q: What happens if a class is full? Is there a waitlist?
A: If a class reaches capacity, you can join our waitlist free of charge. If a spot opens up or a new section is added, we will notify families on the waitlist in the order they signed up.
Q: When is tuition due, and are there late fees?
A: Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your spot. Payments received after the session start date may be subject to a late fee.
Q: Do you offer any other payment options?
A: We accept cash, checks, or alternative payment methods upon request. Please contact us if you prefer a payment method other than those listed on our website.
Q: How do I register for the free adult fitness class (ages 65+), and what should I prepare for class?
A: Contact us directly to register. For the adult fitness class, participants should wear appropriate athletic clothing and indoor tennis shoes. All necessary equipment will be provided during class.
3. Class Preparation & Facilities Policy
Q: What should my child bring or wear to swim or dance classes?
A: Swim/Synchronized Swim: Swimsuit, goggles, swim cap, and a towel.
Dance: Form-fitting athletic wear or dance-wear and appropriate dance shoes (or clean indoor sneakers). Please bring a labeled water bottle for every class.
Q: How early should we arrive before class starts?
A: We recommend arriving 5 to 10 minutes before your scheduled class time so students can get changed, use the restroom, and be ready to start promptly.
Q: Are parents allowed to watch the classes?
A: Yes, parents are welcome to observe from our designated viewing areas. To minimize distractions for students and instructors, we ask that parents remain in the spectator area during instruction.
Q: What safety precautions do you follow during classes?
A: All of our coaches and instructors are certified in CPR and First Aid. Swim instructors carry active lifeguard certifications, and equipment is regularly sanitized to ensure a safe, clean environment for everyone.
4. Attendance, Cancellations & Make-Up Classes
Q: What is the cancellation policy?
A: Classes are automatically canceled during major holidays such as Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. Classes will also be canceled during severe weather conditions following the Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District guidelines.
Q: Can I reschedule or make up a class due to absence or class cancellation?
A: Yes. We will assist you in rescheduling to a similar class during the same session whenever possible. Missed classes do not carry over to the next session. We understand that sickness and occasional absences happen, so extra make-up classes are already built into each session's schedule.
5. Mid-Session Withdrawals & Refund Policy
Q: Can I get a refund if my child is absent or misses a class?
A: No refunds are provided. We strongly encourage full attendance so your child can gain the maximum benefits of skill development.
Q: Can I withdraw in the middle of a session?
A: Yes, but all withdrawal requests require at least 14 days for administrative processing. Any remaining tuition will be refunded once the request is approved. Because consistency is vital for a child's growth and skill development, withdrawing mid-session may impact future enrollment priority.
