Bringing the IB Elements to Life in the Early Years
In our Early Years program, we create dynamic, inquiry-based experiences that bring the IB philosophy to life. Through storytelling, dance, songs, games, and role play, children engage actively with key concepts and develop a love for learning. Our theme-based games encourage curiosity, collaboration, and problem-solving, while interactive discussions provide opportunities for learners to express their ideas, listen respectfully, and reflect critically. Central to our approach is the co-creation of essential agreements, which establish a safe and supportive environment where learners feel empowered to take ownership of their learning and behavior. These experiences nurture the development of the IB Learner Profile attributes—such as being caring, open-minded, and communicative—and strengthen vital Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills, including social collaboration, communication, and self- management. Together, these elements foster a holistic learning journey that supports each child in becoming an inquirer, thinker, and active member of our learning community.

Through thoughtful conversations, our young learners discovered that rakhi can be tied to anyone they love and care for—be it a brother, sister, cousin, friend, parent, aunt, uncle, or even a grandparent. The festival became a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the value of relationships and the importance of expressing affection and gratitude. It was truly touching to see how our little ones embraced the spirit of Raksha Bandhan with innocence and sincerity, recognising that love knows no boundaries.
