WHO ARE WE
We are SYC! We're an elite Ultimate Frisbee team based in London, UK, playing in the women's division.
SYC could stand for Sprint Your Cuts, Share Your Cake, or Shine Your Cleats .... but no one really knows what it stands for, so that is a mystery that is open to interpretation. All you need to know is we are SYC!
Founded in 2011, SYC has finished in the top 4 of UKU Outdoor Nationals 10 times since we began! We offer top level coaching, a variety of tournaments throughout the season, and plenty of socials. We strive to create an environment where players feel supported not only on pitch but also off the pitch too.
Over the years we've had many players who have competed for Great Britain across both the Women's and Mixed divisions in several different age categories ranging from U24s through to Masters! As well as this, we have many international ex players who have played for France, Denmark, New Zealand, Australia, Spain, Singapore to name a few! Not only do we play great Ultimate, we also do a lot for charity raising £19,470 over the past 8 years! You can find out more about our charity events here.

Play for the logo on your kit and the logo on your opponents’ kit. No game is a solo game and play every game like it is your last. Have resilience both on and off the pitch and don’t give up on what you set out to achieve.
Trust not only your teammates but trust in yourself and the community around you. We learn and grow together. Trust that your team has your back both on and off the pitch and be the person your team can trust in return.
Play with your heart, love those you play against, and have fun. We are one community and without it Ultimate wouldn't be the sport it is. Elevate others and allow others to elevate you. Play with passion and remember why you began.
